About the event
The most famous ballet in the world returns to the stage of the Navoi Theatre in a new production. Prince Siegfried falls in love with Odette, a princess turned into a white swan by the sorcerer Rothbart — and at the palace ball he is deceived by her dark double, Odile.
Kamila Nurmatova dances the double role of Odette and Odile and Doniyor Sultonov dances Siegfried, with the theatre’s full ballet company and symphony orchestra. The choreography follows Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov; the sets and costumes were made for this staging.
The performance runs about 2 hours 45 minutes with two intermissions. Latecomers are admitted only during an intermission.
